Admin Guide
As a customer admin on whitesky.cloud BV portal, you can do the following actions:
- Add certificates
- Download certificates
- Add roles
- Configure DNS records
- Configure license notifications
- View audits
- Attach credit cards
- Receive emergency notifications
Adding certificates
You can add your own certificates in the whitesky.cloud BV portal.
- Navigate to Admin > Certificates. A list of available certificates and their information will appear.
- At the top of the page, click ADD CERTIFICATE.
- Choose whether to Create using certificate and key or Create using letsencrypt.
- For Create using certificate and key, enter your certificate and private key.
- For Create using letsencrypt, enter your subdomain and choose the top-level domain from the list of available top-level domains.
- Click SUBMIT.
The newly added certificate will be available to use on the creation of new reverse proxies.
Downloading certificates
You can download your own certificates in the whitesky.cloud BV portal.
- Navigate to Admin > Certificates. A list of available certificates and their information will appear.
- Click the Domain name of the certificate you want to download.
- At the top of the page, click DOWNLOAD CERTIFICATE.
A .zip file will be downloaded on your local machine that contains your certificate and its secret.
Adding roles
You can create new roles and define the permissions for each role.
- Navigate to Admin > Roles. A list of available roles and their permissions will appear.
- At the top of the page, click ADD ROLE.
- Enter the role information and permissions and click ADD ROLE.
To delete a role, click icon next to the role that you want to delete. Confirm this action by clicking CONFIRM.

Configure DNS records
You can create, edit and delete your DNS records or top-level domains by going to Admin > DNS.
For top-level domains, you need to prove the ownership of the domain that you are adding:
- Add a domain verification code to the DNS TXT records of the primary domain.
- Add name server (NS) records to the top-level domain that points to our name servers.
Note: Admins can only edit the top-level domain as long as no customer is using it.
Configure license notifications
You can enable/disable email notifications to your registered email when a new Microsoft product is detected on one of your VMs by going to Admin > License Notifications.

View audits
Audits provide a list of all the requests made by the users of your customer. You can check the date and time of the request, the method used, the path of the request, the user who made the request, the request's status and the request response time.
You can include the GET requests in the results by clicking include GET request above the results.
If you clicked on the request's date and time, you will be redirected to the details page of this specific request. The request details page covers all the request information and the JSON format of both request and response.
Attach credit cards
Customer admins can add their credit cards to the whitesky.cloud BV portal under Admin > Credit Cards.
Note: Attaching credit cards is only available if the whitesky.cloud BV admin had set up a payment provider on the whitesky.cloud BV portal.
To add a new credit card:
- Click ADD CREDIT CARD.
- Enter your credit card information.
- Click ATTACH CREDIT CARD.
Receive emergency notifications
The emergency notification enables the notification of customer admins in the event of potential impact due to VM migration from one CPU node to another resulting in a reboot.
Emergency Notifications can be found on the left navigation drawer under Admin > Emergency Notifications.
You can subscribe to receive updates for all your locations or choose your own customization per each location.
